Blue Robotics

Blue Robotics was created to make ocean exploration more accessible to all. Our mission is to make the ocean more accessible, to provide customers with affordable components to build the next generation of ocean exploration robots. Initially we were searching for components to build our own solar powered robotic boat and discovered how difficult it was to find an affordable yet high quality thruster. Through our research we found many students, researchers, hobbyists, and companies that were interested in ocean exploration but were limited by available products. We decided to design our own T100 Thruster. Since then we have widened our scope of products, providing high quality components for customers to build their own robots as well as designing the BlueROV2.

Boeing

The world’s largest aerospace company subleases wharf and water space at AltaSea to dock and demonstrate its largest unmanned undersea vehicle, the 51-foot Echo Voyager. Pier-launched operations commenced at AltaSea on April 23, 2018.  Open-ocean testing is vital to Echo Voyager’s success, as its underwater autonomy is critical to being submerged for months at a time without physical human contact and in congested waters. The vehicle uses encrypted communications for operational command, control, system status, and mission re-planning during near-surface operations, and acoustic communications for command, control, and status messages during submerged operations.

At TransparentSea, we promote safe and responsible indoor cultivation techniques that provide healthy environments for shrimp to thrive. We then utilize a series of filters to recycle 99% of the water and transform wastes into valuable organic fertilizers. Unlike the majority of farming in the world, we operate a closed system, managing everything that goes in and comes out of the process, instead of polluting our environment or waterways. We look forward to supplying more families with their favorite healthy seafood without the guilt, doubt or confusion that we face today. We invite you to learn more about shrimp and seafood and together we will demand better from our markets and restaurants. With your support, our farming system will spread to change the way shrimp is produced globally.
